PRIVACY
How Cordonry Viticulture Ltd handles personal information under the Privacy Act 2020.
WHO WE ARE
Cordonry Viticulture Ltd is a viticultural consultancy at 42 Princess Street, Martinborough, Wairarapa, New Zealand. We are the agency responsible for the personal information described below.
WHAT WE COLLECT
Enquiries
Name, contact details and whatever you tell us about the vineyard. Used to answer the enquiry and to scope an engagement. Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted after twelve months.
Client records
Engagement correspondence, site records, laboratory results, block maps, yield history and season reports. These are retained for seven years after an engagement ends, because vineyard decisions are argued over long after they are made and the record is the only defence either of us has.
Commercially sensitive information
Yield history, fruit contracts and financial information supplied during an engagement are treated as confidential and are not disclosed to any other client, including a neighbouring vineyard, in any form — including anonymised comparison.
Website
This site uses no analytics, no advertising cookies and no tracking scripts. Photographs are served by an external image host, which receives your IP address as part of delivering an image.
WHO SEES IT
Consultants working on your engagement, our office manager, and laboratories carrying out analysis on samples from your vineyard. Nobody else, unless the law requires it or you direct it in writing.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under the Privacy Act 2020 you may ask what personal information we hold about you and request correction. Write to [email protected]. We respond within twenty working days. Complaints may be taken to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.
